Our History:
 
Scale Magic founded in 2000 by a collective of 3 experienced modellers who at the time of the inceptiom had amassed over 130 years within the hobby, together with over 25 years, in the retail hobby industry, who saw a need to provide high quality resin components and or conversions to the plastic model aircraft hobby.
 
Known originaly as GRW Propducts, which was a creation of collectively using the  founders intials, a name change to Shadoworks about 12 months later was formulated when 2 of the senior founders became involved in model repairs and assignment work for a Transport Company, the Defence Force Recruiting, other Defence Force Depatments and  various Exservicemen Groups.
 
In 2003 the senior leader was sought after by the Royal Australian Air Force, Officer Training School at RAAF Base Williams, on the outskirts of Melbourne Victoria, who had a 'wish list' of various model subjects that where 'Significant to the History of the Royal Australian Air Force' as Training Aides for the Officer Cadets of the School, [the name Scale Magic was then chosen as the name]
 
As the original idea was to produce a range of products, that are high in detail as a suppliment to enhancing a model kit, a vision of it's creative founders that has become known as a producer of model accessories and resin components
 
Scale Magic are modellers, contracted to various Companies, Organizations and Groups, who are sought after by a large cliental of modellers, non-modellers and collectors, both Nationaly and Internationaly. Over the past 10 years the Owner of Scale Magic has been involved in numerious model projects for both Displays and Exhibitions.
 
Scale Magic has expanded in the International Modelling world. Apart from it's Resin Components catalogue and other Aftermarket Products, assistance to Model Kit Manufacturer's, in both model kit subjects and decal options, within their existing range or future releases of model kits, apart from the management of a 60th Aniversary of World War II within the Pacific Theatre of Opperations, on an Internationaly known Model Forum site, reviews  and articles, of products or kit releases, or articles of a Historical Significane, for both Local and International Modelling Magazines.
 
2008 saw the introduction of the Scale Magic Modelling forum, which is solely Administered by the Senior Founder of Scale Magic and has been included on the 2009 International Scale Model list of related Web Sites, in the General / Model Clubs section.
 
 
All 3 Founders of Scale Magic are modellers from different [Melbourne metropolitian based], Model Clubs and can always be found at Model Exhibitions, Swap Meets, or Trade Exhibitions.
Scale Magic offen sponsor events or catagories in Model Competitions.
